Kirsty has been a major contributor to Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation since its beginning. She is responsible for the management of therapy services to Inpatients and Outpatients and ensuring the quality of the services provided meets International Care Standards. Kirsty is passionate about furthering healthcare standards and provision in the UAE and to this end has presented at National and International conferences on Paediatric rehabilitation. Kirsty is a highly specialist Paediatric physiotherapist and supports the Paediatric Service to provide specialized assessment and holistic treatment to children with complex neurological conditions and life limiting illnesses.
Prior to moving to the UAE, Kirsty worked for several highly respectable organizations in the United Kingdom, including Sheffield Children’s Hospital where she served for seven years as a Paediatric Physiotherapist and two years as Specialist Physiotherapist in Orthopedics and Limb Reconstruction, treating children from around the globe with traumatic and birth defects.
An MSc graduate from University of Teesside , UK, Kirsty, has continued her professional development not only in the field of human treatment, but also veterinary Physiotherapy. As a graduate of the Royal Veterinary College, London she owned her own Veterinary Physiotherapy practice in the UK where she assessed and treated both athletic equines and canines post injury and surgery, in particular Polo ponies and Field Trial canines.
Kirsty is a member of the esteemed Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
