Mohamad El-Hage: Chairman of the Executive Committee, Chief Financial Officer

Mohamad El-Hage brings nearly 20 years of finance and strategy experience from renowned firms such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, JP Morgan Chase, Booz Allen Hamilton, Unifund Capital and The Executive Office of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He has worked in corporate offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Beirut and New York City serving the MENA and US markets.

Mohamad is currently Managing Director and Operating Partner at TVM Capital and the Chairman of the Executive Committee for CMRC. Mohamad is a founding team member of CMRC, beginning with the development of its initial concept note and supporting the company through its growth to now become one of the GCC’s leading and largest operators in the long-term care and rehabilitation sector.

Mohamad’s finance track record entails executing transactions and investment engagements worth more than USD 5Bn. He has advised corporations on the issuance of both debt and equity capital, with significant focus on the GCC region. His projects have also included developing the CFO’s office in one of the largest GCC conglomerates.

Mohamad’s finance and investment experience is complemented with four years of strategy work, wherein he provided strategy advise to leading GCC corporations and MENA governments. These projects have included the development of a national strategy for three separate MENA governments, and the proposition of socio-economic concepts and development programs for governments.

Mohamad headed Strategy at The Executive Office of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, where he was directly responsible for the planning, incubation, and oversight of several significant projects, including the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (a USD 10Bn foundation for social development).

Mohamad holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BBA from the American University of Beirut. He also completed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure from the State of New Hampshire in 1999.
